Hello, most awesome one. I'm Ahyiana Angel, and you are listening to the Quit Playing Small podcast. Your space for inspired thinking, encouragement, and good old goodness. Today, let's drop into the struggle because I know some of you are avoiding it and you're thinking, why does she want to talk to us about struggle? Listen up. Some of the people in my life with the best intentions and the biggest and brightest of ideas, they never accomplish what they could have. Now, it's not the case for all, but like I've said to some friends who find themselves in this position, you're too slow to move. Now, that doesn't mean that you have to be hasty and rush through things and not think it through and not plan it. Just wing it.
What it means is that you have to be willing to push yourself to action sooner rather than later, I pride myself on taking action and taking action has taught me how to pivot. In some instances, many times when you pivot, it's because it no longer feels good or things maybe aren't working out as you expected. But that's okay. The best don't get it right from the start. They start in order to get it right, and a winner knows loss, a winner also knows struggle.
That struggle, it's like a rite of passage. With that being said, stop trying to skip it. Stop trying to skip the struggle. We all want to avoid struggling. I know we're all trying to skip it. However, most success stories they involve points of adversity, of difficulty, of mishaps. You rarely hear someone saying when they're talking about their story, that their journey was an easy ride.
You rarely hear them saying that they would love to do it all over again because it was just that easy. Here's a thought. Maybe the quicker you embrace the struggle and work through it, the quicker you'll come out on the other side living in your absolute greatness. The struggle just may be the necessary stepping stone you need.
Thank you so much for spending time with me today. Go out there, embrace the struggle, let it happen where it will. Don't look for the struggle, but embrace it if it's happening. That just means you're one step closer to the greatness you desire, to being an expert and to being fulfilled by what you do. As always, I am sending you big love, big hugs, and cheering you on from the sidelines.
